There are just a few steps that need to be completed prior to accessing the game. Firstly, a game account will be necessary to access the game. By registering a main portal account at www.WarpPortal.com, a Maestia game account can be created. Remember that the Maestia game account is a sub-account to your WarpPortal account!
Next, the Maestia client installer must be downloaded from the website or one of our alternative locations and methods. Upon completion of installing and loading the client, the login screen will appear. At the login screen, the following can be seen:
- ID – Enter the Maestia account ID that was created and registered
- Password – Enter the password associated with the registered Maestia account ID
- Save ID – Checking this box saves the account ID as well as up to 9 other accounts accessed by that computer
- Settings – Allows the adjusting of the game, graphics, sounds, and controls prior to accessing the game world
- Ok (Login) – This confirms the account information provided and grants access to the game server if the ID and Password is correct
- Cancel – This will close the game client
After logging in, the Server Select screen will appear. All active servers will be displayed. The functions below will be available:
Next, the Maestia client installer must be downloaded from the website or one of our alternative locations and methods. Upon completion of installing and loading the client, the login screen will appear. At the login screen, the following can be seen:
- Server Name – Displays the name of the servers available
- Current Status – Displays the traffic level and status of the server
- Connect – Connects the user to the selected game server
- Cancel – This will close the game client
The following screen is the Character Select screen. Here, a character can be selected or created if one has not been created. There are currently 4 character spots available for creation.
- Login – If a character is selected, access to the game world will be granted pending no issues
- Create Character – Allows a user to enter the Character Creation screen to create a new characterr
- Delete Character – Allows a user to delete a character. A 24 hour waiting period is required before the spot is opened
- Lock – Locks the character so that it cannot be accessed. A password can be created to lock the character
- Exit – This will close the client
If a character has not been created and the Create Character button was selected on the previous screen, a new character can be created on the new screen. On this screen, you can choose both a faction to play for and a character class to play with. You can either fight for the Superion Guardians or Temple Knights. From there, the classes Warrior, Mage, Ranger, and Cleric are available. Choose one class from either faction and then press Ok to confirm.
- Ok – Appears after a class has been chosen and confirms the selection if pressed
- Cancel – Returns you to the Character Select Screen
The customization screen appears on the next screen. There are several options for customization on this screen.
- Gender – Choose between playing as a Male or Female
- Face – Several faces and skin tones are available to choose from
- Tattoo – Provides the option to have different kinds of facial marks
- Hairstyle – Several hairstyles and colors are available to choose from
- Height – Move the button left or right to be shorter or taller
- Body Type – Move the button left or right to determine the desired character thickness
- The +, -, and arrows allow varying previewing angles
- Character Name – Enter the desired character name. There is a 15 character limit. A space will appear as a "." (i.e. Charlie Thomas will appear as Charlie.Thomas)
- Create Character – Confirms the details for the character creation provided above
- Back – Returns the user to the faction and class selection screen
